Yes, I said it. Skip the guilt, calorie/fat/carb/points counting and enjoy the Holiday!

—> Eat – Have Fun – Be Thankful—> It is a HoliDAY! Then back to heathy eating/moving/living.

(of course you could workout early in the day… ;)
On Friday, restart you healthy lifestyle plan.
If you are traveling a long distance, here a rule to follow after all stressful and long traveling days…
My 24 hr rule for all traveling.  Works for all travel, not just around the  Holidays.  Business travelers this means you too!

Get outside and go for a walk or exercise that day, or within 24 hours, if you arrive late in the evening.  Everytime.

Make a point to drink extra water. Add flavored packets if you don’t like plain water.

Exercise before Your Thanksgiving Meal

How about a Thanksgiving day AM workout - before the Holiday fun... :)

After Your trip:

After returning home, unpack, do laundry, wipe down suitcase, repack and refill essentials. Put your packing list on top with items repacked/refilled crossed out. Put a post-it or sticky note on your luggage as a reminder for things that you want to remove or add to your packing list.

Do this within 24 hours of being home.  Every time. Ends up only taking a few minutes…. less stress, more time to get outside :)

If not, why else would the mere concept of [...]
